Mario Strikers Charged Football, is a football game of sorts. It bears very little resemblance to the real game of football, but it is fun and addictive all the same.
Players must pick a Captain and 2 other players for their team, from the huge range of Nintendo characters available. Each player has his/her own characteristics and special goal scoring abilities. Mastering each player's special abilities is the key to this game, but there are so many characters to choose from it

Choosing the right team is another challenge. New players should experiment with different combinations of Captains and support players until they find a combo that works for them.
Online play is provided via the Nintendo WiFi service. Players are matched up randomly by the Nintendo servers, which means you could be playing a pro or a total novice. Online play is a great addition, but we would have liked the option to choose the level of player you were matched up with.
