The game ANNO Create a New World is set in 1404. King Georges' land is suffering from drought and chronic famine. The King, fully aware of the distress experienced by his citizens, decides to send his two sons out to gain new lands in order to produce enough food and provisions to satisfy the population. One son suggests conflict to collect the resources the other embarks on a more peaceful solution and discovers the mysterious culture of the orient.
