Designed exclusively for the Wii platform, The Conduit is a hardcore first person shooter that pushes the Wii console to the Max. The game employs the Quantum3 graphics engine, which was designed by High Voltage Software specifically for the Wii console.

The Quantum3 engine provides highly detailed visuals, such as environment mapping, interactive water with realtime reflections and four stage textures that includes gloss, diffuse and bump mapping. The Conduit makes good use of the Wii control system. The control system can be tuned to the players own preference.
Multiplayer is a big part of The Conduit. Up to 12 players can play The Conduit together online and to aid team play, The Conduit supports Wii Speak, Nintendo's voice communication peripheral. The Conduit is just the second game to support Wii Speak. Despite the early rumour about Wii MotionPlus support, The Conduit does not support Wii MotionPlus, but the developers have not ruled out using WMP for a future release.
