Konami's Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 is considered to be the best soccer game on the Wii consoles to date.

This game was created especially for the Wii and makes full use of the Wii control system. PES 2008 stays faithful to the Pro Evo series, but this version of the game has a more team orientated control system.

PES 2008 on the Wii uses a point and drag system. Players use the Wii Remote to guide their man with the ball, and perform all the skill moves and close control with subtle movements of the Wii remote in their hand.
