less structured game. Where player injuries are directly proportionate to the forces involved in the collisions, both on and off the ball.
Precision dribbling in FIFA 12 allows players to dribble whilst shielding. Previously to shield the ball you had to be stationary, but with FIFA 12 you can still move around the field whilst shielding and blocking. AI players will now be much more aware of their position on the football field. eg. players in possession near the penalty area will know their position, and keep tight control of the ball to stop the opposition gaining posession.
With Pro Player Intelligence in FIFA 12 Wii, players will no longer blindly pass to the next available player. Instead, players will be aware of the strengths and weaknesses of the players around them and pass accordingly. For example, if the nearest player has poor shooting skills, the passing player will be less likely to pass to this player, but instead he would cross the ball to a strong attacker that may be further away.
For the Wii there is only one version of FIFA 12 available, the regular edition. For the Xbox 360 and the PS3, there are 3 versions of FIFA 12 available. The regular or normal version and 2 premium editions, the special edition and the ultimate edition.
The regular edition of FIFA 12 contains no extras, just the game itself. The other premium editions are aimed at generating sales in the preorder market.
